I...So excited for this new step in your journey. <br /><br />I highly recommend doing the Couch to 5k program. It will train you to go from a couch potato to running a 5K in 9 weeks or longer if you need to repeat some of the days or weeks. If you use a specific training program to train you will have some guidelines to help you get to your end result. I personally completed the program. Some weeks were harder than others but, I loved every minute of each run. It felt great to use my body in a way that hadn't been used in a REALLY long time. I am registered to run my first 5K run on July 10th. I am so excited! Next step will be a 10K in October. <br /><br />Glad you are going to school. It will be a really good thing for you.
